Dr. Brian Chicoine of the Adult Down Syndrome Center at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, will be discussing General Medical Conditions in Teens and Adults with Down Syndrome. Dr. Chicoine, with over 30 years of experience, is a national expert on the health conditions impacting teens and adults with Down syndrome.
He is the co-author of two Woodbine House books: The Guide to Good Health for Teens and Adults with Down Syndromeand Mental Wellness in Adults with Down Syndrome. Dr. Chicoine is frequently a guest speaker at national conferences, and SVDSN and The Matthew Foundation are pleased to be able to bring him to the Bay Area.
